Can you wear it on your back?
Yes, you can. Although the Peekaru Original is designed for front use, it is fully functional when using a back carry. You may find the neck zipper unusual as it will zip up the back of your neck, but we find the back carry option works great! (And so does our son!) To put it on your back, simply secure your child in their carrier, put your left arm through the arm opening, flip the Peekaru over their head (they may complain for a second being covered, but its almost over!) and PULL down. Don’t worry about anything scratching them as nothing but soft fleece is back there, no zippers, no clips, nothing to harm them. After your baby pops through the head hole, simply zip the vest up. Alternatively, some people have found that putting the baby head hole over their baby and then securing them on their back to be another way. If you have any additional questions, or are having trouble please contact us as we may have some tips for you!
