Favorite Books?
I'd like to buy some new books for Soph, but I'm really unsure what to get. Do you guys maybe have any recommendations for me?

Re: Favorite Books?
We always loved all of Julia Donaldson's books. Also Jez Alborough's books. Hmm, what else? I'd have to check the little man's bookshelves but he's asleep now. I'll get back to you tomorrow.

Re: Favorite Books?
We got some from Barefoot Books, that my son (3.5 years old) really likes (e.g. "Driving my tractor" is a big hit here right now).
His two all-time faves right now are "The Lion King" from Disney (though way too much text) and a dinosaur book called "The Big Book of Big Dinosaurs", which we have to look at basically every day. It's not much text, basically it's just pictures and pictures of dinosaurs, so only consider it, if your daughter is into dinosaurs as well.
Much loved is also "The Little Engine That Could".
We also like the Foggy series. And Dr. Seuss.

Favorite Books?
That reminds me, Dinosaur Roar is a fab book too. Oh, and Goodnight Moon.
And yes, Barefoot books *are* lovely.
More tomorrow.

Thanks so much for that. Our copy of Goodnight Moon looks slightly tattered already

Re: Favorite Books?
I just spotted Olivia on the little man's bookshelf, which is also lovely.
Then there are Eric Carle's books of course.
And Guess How Much I love You, including the seasons books.
Another firm favourite is Orange Bear Apple Pear and other books by the author.
I could go on and on...

Eric Carle books we have quite a few of, too (Guess How Much I love You as well). After dinner, I'll go and look up the other books you recommended!

Re: Favorite Books?
How about some books about Paddington Bear? Those are quite simple and have nice pictures.
